HOW TO SUFFER AND BE HAPPY

How to suffer and be happy.

 Suffering does not last.

*Unconditional happiness does.

(OK, but it doesn’t seem that way!)

The condition of living in this body and mind (software on a hardrive) – in this avatar – is constant suffering. It’s a full time job: finding food for it, cleaning it, producing another avatar for another being with a ‘friend’, finding food for it and cleaning it. Most of our time is spent worrying!

It’s only when this body get old, sick and dies that we are free of all those chores…or not! Because of our habitual tendencies (our karmic load), we will go through this all again, in another body – which may even not be human. The point is, we just have to accept this fact: in having a physical body, together with this loaded mind…suffering is unavoidable!

The good news is that ‘we’ are not this body, or this ‘software’. We do not have to suffer. We cannot suffer, never have suffered, and never will suffer. When we realise we are pure awareness in a body and mind, then everything changes, we also realise that our true nature is unconditionally happy – beyond the conditions of this physical body and mind.

We are genuinely pure, luminous beings stuck in a body, because of our habitual way of looking our selves and the universe. We have got so used to this that we do not know – or have forgotten – what we truly are.

Well, we just have to act as if we do recognise what we truly are…fake it! This gets us ‘acting’ in a different way, knowing that our true nature is happiness, and that no outside force can effect it or hurt us. Just try it! Most important of all -stop worrying!

It is the ideas we hold about ourselves and the universe around us that make us unhappy. The world is not perfect – but then again, it is perfect. Our combined ignorance has let the world deteriorate to the state it is in today, and this is why, in order to change the world, we have to change the way we see things.

This change will take a long time to come about as a collective, as we are in the Kuli Yuga (the age of strife). However, if we can change our view at any time…pass it on!

Letting go of our fixate point of view is simple…but not easy! This is why we need good company.

*Unconditional happiness means a happiness that does not rely on mental or physical conditions.
