JUMPY PEOPLE

Jumpy people.

This modern world is very alert, very cognisant, and full of jumpy people. We live on speed!

This has the effect of making everything seem super real…bigger…faster. It is as if someone has turned the ‘frequency knob’ up to 11, which has the effect of creating emotional stress and exhaustion. This illusion, if justified, becomes a delusion.

That is the road to serious mental health problems, which will have an effect on our immune systems: we will be told to take a pill for this, and pay the price. By now, we must feel that something is not right.

On forums, as in life, people are running around trying to find where ‘it’s’ at, believing in all sorts of nonsense, and trying to reinvent the wheel. This is because they do not believe the wheel they already have is actually a wheel. Arguing about everything only serves to make the illusion real and keeps us trapped. You can see where this is leading – a planet of insane, jumpy people!

Of course, the special people who are reading this ‘know’ where it’s at  😉  …but we still get caught up in the frenzy, don’t we?

In the old world, people were not so alert and jumpy: their emotions were more stable, and therefore their minds were clearer. Maybe they didn’t bother so much…“There’s always tomorrow…” This is why, in meditation, we are barely aware, and not super aware. We have to slow down and relax for clarity to occur. There is no rush. Being barely aware, we noticed more, and we are more at peace.

The world in which we physically live is created by other’s dreams – or nightmares! The “You can have it now! You can do it now! Yes, you can!” society. Years ago, everything was done by hand with great skill, whereas now a machine does it, and then corrects it for us.

I suspect that social engineering is taking place in a big way, with the aim of making people jumpy. It’s a laboratory rats’ maze. This is where I would differ from traditional teachings…your ignorance is not all your fault.

But this does not mean we waste our time blaming others. We have to deal with it ourselves. Even the Buddhas cannot do it for us. Through inspiration, they indicate the way, and all we have to do is stop following the chattering mind.

(That ‘frequency knob’ is interesting. I get the feeling someone has their hands on two knobs – one is normal (common sense) and one is abnormal. From time to time, the knobs are alternatively switched on and off. For example, children should get exercise (normal knob on) but this requires more and more health and safety laws, so less exercise is the outcome (abnormal knob on/normal knob off). Then…children should get more exercise (normal knob on/abnormal knob off). Politics, health, diet, local authorities, education…it’s all the same…the result is to make people jumpy! There are also very subtle, insidious knobs, and that is to do with spirituality.)
