Dedicating merit.
At the end of any practice, it is always good to dedicate it to all sentient beings. It completes the practice and rids us of any self centred-ness.
Whatever merit we have accumulated
may it benefit all sentient beings
that they may attain Buddha hood.
Being aware of the illusory nature
of all sentient beings,
may compassion well up
at their plight of failing to realise their empty nature.
May all beings be happy, and have the causes of happiness.
May they be free from suffering, and the causes of suffering.
May they never lose the happiness free from suffering.
May they be free from attraction, aversion and impartiality,
and remain in great equanimity.
