THE CHALLENGE OF THE ILLUSION

The challenge of the illusion.

We live in a personal illusion.
This illusion is that our pure essence
believes a mental image of itself to be real.

 We are surrounded by others
believing in their personal images.
Even when we know, we still react,
thereby maintaining the illusion.

 Challenging isn’t it?

It doesn’t matter how often we are told,
if we have not recognised our habitual patterning for ourselves,
we remain in the illusion.

In meditation, we merely note thoughts
and do not cling, remaining neutral.
The same goes for daily life.

Do we engage with others or not?
The question to ask is:
Am I making it better or worse?

 Is this ‘help’ coming from
self aggrandisement
or empathetic compassion?

 If you are still wondering
what you are,
it is reading this with
absolutely
no comment.
