How will you know when you are enlightened?

My guess is, you won’t.
There will be no ‘you’ present to identify anything.
The sun just shines.
The eyes just see.
What is…is.

Of course, out of compassion,
an enlightened being must manifest
from timelessness to time,
just to keep us in the right direction.
