Worried About Ego?
If we observe something, share an experience or have a poo, none of these are ego-orientated. Ego is the fixations that govern our entire life.
On meeting someone, there is an impression, a momentary view. We may note an attitude or inclination, but this noting is not ego-orientated; it is the teacher of all phenomena. If we then hold on to that view, fixating upon it and boosting it, that is ego-orientated, and we will suffer as a result.
I used to worry about ego, until I realised that clinging to that worry is ego.
