That is the definition of karma:
We consume ideas and obscure our true nature.
We bind ourselves to the religion of conceptual consumerism. That binding is the acquisition of ideas, and fixes us for life. The very word ‘religion’ means to bind, an obligation.
Undoing our habitual attitude releases us from our debt. That is the path to enlightenment. We just have to clear the books of bad assets! All it takes is a good heart, a kind heart, an empathetic heart. Until then, we have to enjoy in the devil’s playground.
