The Age Of My Opinion
Opinions are beliefs – something we accept without proof that creates conflict.
As our opinions are important to us, others’ opinions are important them = conflict.
As long as we cling to our opinions, we will never know the truth beyond thoughts or words.
We’ll just become opinionated and judgemental.
Opinionated: characterised by conceited assertiveness and dogmatism.
There are many spiritual traditions having different characteristics,
and one characteristic will not suit everyone.
When opinions become dogma, we are ruled by beliefs.
An individual may have a problem requiring a solution:
a dogmatic person would say, “Everyone needs the same solution”.
Ultimately, darkness/opinions have to give way
to the light/wisdom that has no characteristics.
Truth comes to each open mind.
