Because someone said they were?

Don’t be offended at this question.
To question is to want to understand.

Understanding is the very opposite to believing.
When we understand, do we become precious ones?

This must have been the intention of the Buddha when he said,
“Do not take my word for truth; test it for yourself.”

Don’t give your mind away to others;
it’s for you to use properly.
