WORDS ARE ONLY AN ACCOUNT OF THE TRUTH

Words Are Only An Account Of The Truth

Words are only an account of the truth
and not the truth itself.

Words are a reflection,
whereas the mirror is direct perception.

The understanding of words may differ;
that is why there are many traditions.

If the Buddha said, “Do not take my word for the truth; test it for yourself,” he realised that, in
clinging to words, experience will be distant rather than direct.
