Catching The Moment Of Reality

Everyone is normal in the very first instant of meeting, a casual encounter where pure consciousness is spontaneously present. It’s just there. We are just there, open to the moment.

As a conversation progresses, however, we enter mind’s territory of ideas, prejudice, partiality, favouritism, unfairness, one-sidedness, bigotry, intolerance … judgements … unfriendliness … shunning … the unreal, the imaginary, the illusion. It’s very complicated! 🙂

That first moment, impossible to deny, is spirituality. It is that simple – the first moment is always the spontaneously present wakefulness of pure consciousness.

We don’t go anywhere without it – it’s what we are,
and we don’t have to do anything weird or intellectual
