The first noble truth of the Buddha is the recognition of suffering; that leads on to realising the cause of that suffering (which is belief), to finding a true path, and to committing to it.
This is precisely why evil can never win.
Evil is its own worst enemy!
Evil is the great selfishness
which has contaminated all of us like a pandemic.
