WHO IS ACTUALLY INTERESTED IN REALITY?

Who Is Actually Interested In Reality?

How many people do you know who are interested in reality? They may be interested in philosophy, in words, in rituals, but that isn’t reality; these are things to do, to pass the time. Most assume that their betters* will tell them about reality, but it’ll be their version.

Once we realise that all theories end in dissatisfaction and do not ultimately help us, we seek something direct and provable. We start to eliminate trivia, finally arriving at what is left – the eliminator, consciousness itself. That is the reality we seek, which never changes. It’s obvious once we see it, and has nothing to do with clever words.

It is through perfect meditation that we finally realise we are pure, unadulterated consciousness. All those things we were told to believe in now sound hollow, idiotic and dangerous, because they can only dwell in a mind of fantasies.

This isn’t the age of poetry and vague suggestion;
it is the age of directness.

* those we assume are superior to us.
