INSIDE OUT OR OUTSIDE IN

Inside Out Or Outside In

There are two approaches to realising our reality;
learn about it from a book – outside in
or through experience – inside out.

Reading and collecting others’ words is interesting,
and we become repeaters.

Experiencing without words is …
😀
… just is …

    But of course! With the kicker being that we cannot talk about what we know without knowing how we know. And books, etc., exist as poor directions to knowing what must be known but can’t be said. Martin Palmer interprets the Tao Te Ching’s, “The Tao that can be said is not the eternal Tao,” as, “The path that can be discerned as a path is not a reliable path.” And that leaves us quite on our own in knowing what is to be known–pretty much in the position of becoming God considering, communing with, God. Which, I take it, is exactly where we have all always been. It is how perception works. And it take a lot of silence to see what we are looking at. If someone tries to tell us, it all goes to pieces and we have to start from nothing all over again.
