We don’t have to be special to recognise our true reality.
Realising the truth – our original state – isn’t being
clever, intellectual, or devotional.
It’s a simple mind.
A simple mind just sees, does whatever is necessary,
and drops it.
The essence of all sentient beings is pure consciousness,
which is common to all, and therefore nothing special.
BUDDHA IN THE MUD is a blog - a living book based on the Dzogchen teachings. Our teacher is life, and life is karma. We are all Buddhas in the mud of concepts.
