Are there levels of consciousness?
No.
There are levels of obscuration.
Consciousness is clarity.
The unenlightened see obscurations in others.
A Buddha sees Buddha nature.
(Obscuration: fixating and holding on to ideas and obsessions that have been inserted into our minds and which we’ve adopted, distracting and creating our behaviour and attitude.)
