The Wisdom Of Transforming Our Emotions

Our emotions, such as pride, anger, jealousy, desire, indifference, or just plain annoyance, control our lives.

We can transform our emotions through reasoning, and direct first-hand experience. Our emotions protect our idea of self when this gets annoyed with anyone who doesn’t validate us or our ideas.

In the first instant of an emotion arising, the mind brightens – something is amiss. That’s it. Pure seeing is the moment of wisdom! That is pure consciousness. If we catch that moment and don’t react, we have transcended the ordinary human behaviour that dwells in the vicious cycle of existence. 

That’s how we transform emotions.
It’s call EQ – emotional quotient. 

Emotional intelligence (EQ) is the ability to understand, use, and manage our own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathise with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.

EQ = true intelligence.
