VALUING AND DEVALUING INNER PEACE

Valuing And Devaluing Inner Peace

Valuing inner peace isn’t just words; it’s our practicality.
So how did we – and do we – lose it?

Our true reality of pure consciousness is contentment in clarity, which is divine splendour (the dictionary definition). Valuing this clarity and realising it as our original essence brings great contentment. We no longer follow the animated crowd, as inner peace has nothing to do with conditions.

But we became – and become – excited about this clarity, and want to do something interesting with it. In our ‘enthusiasm’, we lost – and lose – clarity and inner peace, and an ‘I’-complex is created.

This invites Mara (immorality) to take advantage of our ignore-ance of our reality, and we became – and become – part of that immorality by taking sides through groupthink.

The middle way is realising and valuing our origin, and realising and valuing Mara’s attempt to distract and disturb inner peace. Recognising Mara’s effort to devalue reality becomes our teacher.

Every time someone is over-egging – making something seem larger, more important, better, or worse than it really is – that is Mara. We meet Mara every day. 🙂

Divine isn’t something to worship; believing that is Mara.
Divine is what we are.

We merely have to acknowledge how far we’ve gone astray – and why.
