What We Don’t Notice
We don’t notice being taken over by ideas, losing the ability to see clearly. When we hear or see something, we go to memory for reference, and then react. This is a learnt pattern of behaviour which we think is normal, but it’s just a re-enactment.
We don’t notice that, in the first immediate instant of perception, there is just seeing, just hearing. This is pure consciousness – the truth of what we are, which we ignore.
Ignorance is the conceptual mechanism
that fixes our brain and rules us.
All we have to do is know it.
This knowing is ethereal awareness, pure consciousness.
It’s not what we think.
