Realisation Is Personal
The wonder in personal realisation lies in ‘imperfection’, the subtle and annoying nuances of change (traditionalists don’t like change: we can be ‘perfectionists’, and still be stuck-in-the-muds).
Religion makes these nuances appear ‘perfect’, and so, unattainable. When we identify with a system, we feel we have to be perfect within that system, which inhibits natural growth.
Outside, it is as it is, warts and all.
