NO PURPOSE, NO ENERGY

No Purpose, No Energy

Know purpose, know energy.

Through recognition of the need, power and inspiration come to us. This is what happened when the Buddha saw suffering in the world, and we have to do the same. The Buddha didn’t protest with a banner or argue with people; he went deep within and realised the source of suffering.

When we argue, it gives others no time for proper reflection and so they just react, and conversations are more of the same.

Reading and meditation are a solitary affairs of reflection;
spiritual practice is a matter of investigating the cause behind the cause.

In meditation, pure consciousness has no needs, no desires, no fears. The outcome of such practice is an understanding of others’ plight – that they too are pure consciousness, but don’t realise that consciousness that has been turned into a self, and is thus the cause of suffering.

This realisation provides the energy for compassion, and our individual method of expressing this understanding. We all have an personal talent to convey whatever is experienced.

Recognising the self-deviation of confusion is the path to enlightenment.
