Our Natural State Is Meditative
It’s quite ordinary.
Meditation is merely being aware of being aware,
realising we are that awareness and resting there.
This is what we are: pure consciousness.
Our practice is to preserve this inner peace.
We meditate twice a day,
stopping for a moment during activities
to remember what we are.
Actually, we do nothing.
Consciousness sees what needs to be done,
and the fingers do it.
We are just aware.
We’re not a constant consumer of ideas.
We don’t overreact, but merely note with a measured response.
Someone may say,
“I can’t be aware all the time. I’m too busy”.
We all have choice – higher or lower.
