We Were Warned
The Buddha said,
“Do not take my words for the truth: test them for yourself.”
This was a warning, because to just believe in written or spoken words without practice and experience creates a false reality. Belief in words is acceptance without personal proof – it’s just hope.
We are the authority of whether something is true or not,
and for that, we have to go beyond the words.
Read between the lines.
We are the gap between words.
Jesus also warned us:
“Split a piece of wood, and I am there.
Lift up the stone, and you will find me there.”
“Find me there” is the realisation that we are all pure consciousness.
The truth is in the seeing, not in the words.
