WHY DOES BUDDHISM GO ON ABOUT SUFFERING?

Why Does Buddhism Goes On About Suffering?

Our true nature is pure consciousness beyond ideas, emotions and the material world. It’s the view by which everything can be known. The relief of realising this is unconditional happiness … with a few hiccups. 🙂

The investigation into suffering and dissatisfaction is only for those who recognise suffering and are dissatisfied. If you’re quite happy with the state of affairs, then be happy.

It is the feeling of unease that makes us question why. We see acting everywhere; it’s something that people cannot control, and we recognise that this is suffering. The problem is that many ‘spiritual’ people chant and pray thinking that’s a positive act, while they cannot see the suffering right under their nose, and therefore they have no empathy.

That is not Buddhism.

This highlights the distinction between the original teachings of Siddhartha Gautama (focused on personal investigation, ending suffering, and non-self) and later dogmatic, ritualistic, or culturally adapted interpretations.

The essence of Buddhism encourages testing teachings through experience, rather than blind faith, which is an intellectual fantasy.

Actually admitting suffering is the first step to enlightenment … without hiccups. 😀
