Our Collective Problem

We’ve been bamboozled for so long that we reject any evidence of the bamboozle, because it becomes too painful to acknowledge.

Bamboozle: 18^th century; tricking, deceiving, or mystifying someone.

When we lack a clear path forward, this results in confusion, dullness and passive acceptance. This causes us to become upset, hostile, alienated, fearful, proud about everything, because we don’t know what actually matters, and just repeat whatever we’re told.

Dharma is just being conscious of being conscious, realising that we are this pure consciousness that is never bamboozled. We can only be bamboozled when consciousness becomes a product of mind.
