It’s Amazing

Realising that we are pure consciousness isn’t amazing, because it’s our natural state.
Just look, see and drop any claiming or identification.
There’s nothing to shout about.

What is amazing is that people don’t get it, even when it’s explained.
They prefer a story to the awareness which is aware of that story.

Being told that they are a ‘shard of universal consciousness’ is preferable to actual direct experience. ‘Universal consciousness’ is another word for God’, but they don’t realise that ‘God’ is pure consciousness; it’s what we are

It’s the same with the ‘Buddha’, which is also pure consciousness. This is why we are advised that, if we see the Buddha on the road, we should walk the other way. The Buddha is not ‘up there’ or ‘out there’; it is what we are.

The same goes for ego. That too has no reality; it’s just consciousness clinging to ideas.

Whatever we call it, it is within.
To believe in names is the path of hell-samsara, and this belief is why we are here.

To realise enlightenment is to know that we are in hell
– and that that’s the best place to be as confusion is obvious everywhere.

It’s amazing that so many people don’t notice their natural state
which is with them every nano-second of their life.
