The relative is an after-thought!
We seem to be in two worlds, one being Relative reality, and the other, Absolute reality. We are split into a relative me and an absolute me. Actually, the absolute was there first, and the relative came along later – a split second later!
The Relative is the phenomenal world of body and mind.
The Absolute is pure Awareness.
The Relative world is temporary.
The Absolute world is not temporary.
This means that the temporary, in actuality, has no reality:
its reality is in its unreality.
However,
the absolute cannot be said to be real or not real:
that is its reality.
I’ll just qualify this. When we first look for absolute reality – and that looking is relative reality – nothing can be found. Why? Because that which the relative is seeking is the very nature of the relative. There is nothing there. Emptiness cannot be said to be found, only realised. The Absolute is looking for itself! Realising the non-finding is…Emptiness. Have a look!
Most of the time we are unaware of our Absolute nature, because we (absolute nature) focuses on the relative outer world. It is precisely because of our absolute nature that anything can be known, but the relative is too busy to see this.
The relative is always an after-thought!
