If we see the insubstantiality of all phenomena in a negative way,
we make it appear real.
Seeing everything as ‘hollow’, we don’t get hooked.
A sense of absurdity arises:
another name for humour.
The antonym of humour is seriousness.
BUDDHA IN THE MUD is a blog - a living book based on the Dzogchen teachings. Our teacher is life, and life is karma. We are all Buddhas in the mud of concepts. 
1st noble truth: suffering. Inside-out. Resting in emptiness, there is nothing to get hooked.
