Thanks for this info. I will be in the UK beginning of april. I see there is an event in Bruton during this period with the following prerequisite: This retreat is open to students who have already received pointing out instructions from Tsoknyi Rinpoche, Mingyur Rinpoche or their father Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche.
Are the tight on these kind of prerequisites or loose..? Do you advise a specific teaching in Tnoknyi’s programme for 2017?
Sometime we have to be dynamic in our approach, as people are, well… people.
If you are not satisfied you could always get an organiser to contact Tsoknyi Rinpoche directly for you. “Faint heart never won fair maiden!”
Okay, to tell you another truth, western committee organisers can be very protective of their teacher. Best to ask an organiser in Nepal, as Tsoknyi Rinpoche is probably there now. Getting an answer isn’t at all easy, so ask three times.
Or you can wait for a “Pointing out instruction” course…. 😀

Morning Marcel,
To tell the truth, I’m not sure how strict they are. I’ve never had anyone ask me.
You could contact:
37 Leighton Road
Bath BA1 4NF
t: 01225 312735
info@pundarika.uk.net
The organiser is Carol Bishop. You could email or phone and say that you are really really keen!
And here:

I’d say take what you can get, as it’s all the same theme. They have a live video link teaching in the summer from Crestone Colorado.
Best of luck
Tony
