We Dis+cover What Has Always Been There

The enlightened essence of all sentient beings merely needs re+cognition. We dis+cover what has always been there. Racing around like hungry ghosts, looking for where it’s at, we are where it’s at already.

When we stop this busy-ness and find we are in a state of vacancy, we look to that which notices this state. Under a rock, in a piece of wood … that which is looking and seeing is the supreme essence of the universe.

It’s not complicated. Thou art that. But to that, we say “Not this” so that we do not hold on to another version of self. We are the seeing – pure awareness.

It’s so simple,
and the reason we cannot find reality
is that we are it.
When you get it, it’s a shock.

There is nothing religious about this;
there is no obligation.

Does life change?
No, it’s the same, but attachment lifts off
and we see more through clarity.

Everything and everyone is special
as we know what’s underneath.
That is dis+covery.
