OUR MINDS RUN ROUND IN CIRCLES

Our Minds Run Round In Circles

Our minds run round in circles, trying to find satisfaction. When we cannot, we make up stories. Unfortunately, these beliefs do not completely satisfy, but we think they’re good enough – ‘Well, everyone else believes it.’

Through pride, we attach ourselves to philosophies and spout them, which merely perpetuates mind-games.

Thinking that the journey of collecting theories is more important than arriving, we go round in circles, as the idea of arrival is too scary. Why? We love our opinions, and we’re used to things being complicated so that we can become experts, not realising it’s counter-productive.

Stopping is only for those who are genuinely fed-up with it all, and for those who no longer find stories interesting. It’s a cliché, but the truth is within; this may be just words … but it’s true. It is only in silent contemplation through the stillness of meditation that this is realised – it can never be realised by thinking about it.

The truth is within silence.
This is what academics and philosophers miss.

We do not have to be special people to realise truth,
because truth is what we are.
