Pure Perception Comes Before Words
There are no beliefs in pure perception.
Belief comes from words.
If anyone says, “In the beginning was the word”,
they are not telling the truth.
Pure perception is our ultimate reality.

So what was before the word?
That is for you to realise.
Tony
Before the word there was no one to speak and no “other” to speak to. There was (is) only awareness, and this can be described as similar to space.
Hello,
In an infintie universe, there must be infinite awareness with no beginning and no end.
Nice to chat again,
Tony
Hello Tony, Yes, it has been a while but that seems to be the way it had to be. One could question the existence of a “universe” but yes, I hear what you’re saying. In any event I didn’t come here to have a debate; I just saw someone who seemed to need help and thought maybe I could assist.
Though now that I see the reply, saying that there are no words because there is no one to speak them probably wasn’t a lot of help. That’s why I don’t say much. Speaking about, or even contemplating what we truly are is difficult at best.
Take care.
Hello NHGS,
We all have the same facility of pure awareness, before we are aware of something out there.
This is what unifies us, makes us whole. Words divide. That’s not going to change.
All the best,
Tony
I agree, awareness might also be thought of as sameness, where all truly is one. It is only in / as awareness that we see clearly that there is no other. There is awareness, period.
Unfortunately, we’re stuck with words if we are to communicate. Some words such as “What was I prior to birth?” can be helpful but it seems that most never reach the point of asking such questions. Too bad.
And please, call me Allen.
