We Adopt A Story
When we don’t know what we are, we use our history to create a persona for ourselves. This happens when we’re very young through good and bad trauma. “Good boy!” and “Bad boy!” creates a ghost of an identity. We wear this mask our entire life and die, not knowing that our nature is divine splendour, which has nothing to do with religion.
Divine splendour is clarity and happiness for no reason. It’s our natural essence, before the mind steps in, and is unconditional in that it doesn’t rely on the ‘right’ conditions.
We believe that we’re somehow more interesting, so we maintain an act to feel better about ourselves. This is conditioning. It doesn’t matter how clever we think we are – this is a condition to fool others. When we realise we are unconditioned being, we’re free to exhaust all karma – the effects of previous actions – and loosen the grip of samsara, the vicious cycle of existence.
As long as we believe, we will lack clarity because we live in a duality.
Clarity is happiness for no reason.
