Open To The Present
Open to the present.
Closed by the past.
We are closed by our past when we identify with some aspect of life, and become stuck there.
In the present moment, however, all identity vanishes, and there is merely spontaneous presence.
Open, spontaneous presence is a rare event, but can occur when we come to our senses through the unexpected – a shock, or emotion.
Or with the conscious realisation of spontaneous nowness where nothing special happens, except the relief from thinking we are special đŸ˜€
