SPIRITUALITY WITHOUT RELIGION

Spirituality Without Religion

Spirituality is personal endeavour.
Religion is group guided.

Pure consciousness is our spiritual reality.
Religion is belief in our spiritual reality.

Having experienced suffering, we can empathise with how depressing it is.
Belief in suffering is guessing, which lacks empathy.

There is a big difference between spirituality and religion.

Theology is a collection of opinions regarding hearsay.

Faith is opinion that takes itself seriously.

The Buddha and Jesus, etc. figured it out entirely on their own.

We can do the same thing by opening ourselves to what meets us in the emptiness, stillness and silence and going where that leads.

    These are the Four Precepts.
