THE BUDDHA WAS A WEIRD ONE

The Buddha Was A Weird One

The word ‘weird’ comes from the old English ‘wyrd’, which referred to fate, destiny, or the power to control the future. By that definition, the Buddha was definitely weird. 🙂 He predicted that the future Buddha – Maitreya – would arrive when his own teachings had been forgotten.

The divine eye – pure consciousness – can see exactly where we’re all are heading. People are predictable; we can read them like a book – and they us. Intention or motivation is karma.

The seed and the fruit.
Wholesome motivation: actions driven by kindness, generosity, or wisdom plant good seeds that eventually grow into happy experiences.

Unwholesome motivation: actions driven by greed, anger, or delusion plant poisonous seeds that lead to suffering, even if the action itself looks good on the outside.

This is common sense.
We’re all a bit weird; we all read people.
🙂
