We’re A Mismatch
We all have different experiences, different desires, different aversions. We see life differently, and so true communication is impossible because we assume that others are using the same dictionary of experiences, but our mental images are triggered by our unique pasts.
Family, friends, acquaintances, neighbours are merely sentient beings, governed by their experiences which are governed by their environment.
We truly commune in silent awareness.
Even our cat knows that.
