The Second Coming

Yesterday’s post was about the coming of Buddha Maitreya, who will appear when Buddha Gautama’s teaching has deteriorated, and that the right motivation of loving kindness is already within us, meaning that we are manifesting Maitreya now.

The same process of the second coming happens in Judaism and Christianity.

Judaism: The Messiah is a descendant of King David who will return, bringing spiritual salvation.
Christianity: Christians believe Jesus is the Messiah who will return, bringing spiritual salvation.

When we actually practise loving kindness,
we are the second coming.
We don’t have to wait.

What else can it be?
