FIXATION IS ADDICTION

Fixation Is Addiction

Fixations limit our potential, and that programmes our life. Spiritual paths are no different as we all acquire certain ways. To become unfixed, we need to be dedicated to letting go.

Dedication is a healthy, purpose-driven commitment.
A path can be just an act of dedication.

Fixation is an unhealthy, obsessive attachment.
This is something we have to be honest about.

To be fixated is to be in a groove, where our mind is captured into thinking that that is the path.
The path is, in fact, pure observation.

A fixated person cannot process a refined view, because their focus is entirely consumed by their current level of understanding or yana.

An un-fixated practitioner (or artist)
wants to know when they are going wrong.

The right path is dropping the act.

In this day and age
we have to be able to distinguish between
the real and the unreal.
