WATERED-DOWN DHARMA

Watered-Down Dharma

It’s easily done.

Dharma is active consciousness. When Dharma manifests as form and ritual, it then becomes reactive Dharma. We transition from active to reactive when intellectual comfort replaces sincere enquiry and genuine generosity, patience, morality, discipline and concentration, which leads to transcendent wisdom.

Dharma requires a wakeful, receptive mind that is free from prejudice and conditioning.

When consciousness falls asleep, Dharma hardens into form, ritual and separation.
Practice degrades into unconscious physical and verbal routines.

Rather than purifying the mind, this watered-down version turns people into dogmatists; a person who treats protocols as absolute truths that can never be questioned or adapted.

Dharma is undiluted awareness
living in the moment now,
not in the past.
