My favorite sports team continues to win but my friends have stopped inviting me to their house. Each time, I wear my lucky socks. It’s been almost 3yrs (UCLA’s ‘71-‘74 seasons) since I’ve washed them! Do I get new friends or hope for a UCLA loss? 🧐
😀
Hmm…tough one.
Are you saying that the socks smell?
Have you experimented with washing them?
Do your friends support the other sides?
Do your friends recognise how dear your socks are to you?
Hmm… friends versus team?
Perhaps, leave your socks at home on a special shrine, and show how special your friend mean to you.
If the team still wins, it’s a win-win-win situation.
If the team lose, write to the team and say it was all your fault. They’d appreciate that and you’ll feel better, so a win-win situation.
What does your Mum say?
