Are ‘Soap Operas’ A Brain Washing Technique?

As people mistrust the media more and more,
notice the messages in TV and radio soap operas.

Technic: early 17th century ‘to do with art or an art’): from Latin technicus, from Greek tekhnikos, from tekhnē ‘art’.
Brain wash: pressurise others into adopting radically different beliefs by using systematic and often forcible means.
Soap opera: a television or radio drama serial dealing typically with daily events in the lives of the same group of characters.

Still think our mind is our own?

The Cambridge Dictionary: “the lowest common denominator” is used to refer in a disapproving way to the sort of people in society who are least intelligent, and who will accept low-quality products and entertainment: ‘The problem with so much television is that it is aimed at the lowest common denominator’.
