So Where’s The Proof?
Where’s the proof?!
Someone once asked,
“Where’s the proof about consciousness?
How do you know it is good?”
Wanting proof without looking for oneself is mere laziness. Thinking that words are the proof is intellectualisation. Without the practice of looking and tasting, any words are like casting pearls before swine*.
‘Casting pearls before swine’ means wasting time offering something that is helpful to someone who doesn’t appreciate or understand it. They do not value what should be valued.
Those who want your proof will not understand it, and will become hostile. The proof is only in personal tasting. If I say, “Here’s the proof!”, that demands that you believe me. And that is idiotic.
*Matthew 7.6:-
“Do not give what is holy to the dogs;
nor cast your pearls before swine,
lest they trample them under their feet,
and turn and tear you in pieces”.
