ACKNOWLEDGING CONDITIONING

Acknowledging Conditioning

Conditioning: the process of accustoming a person or animal to behave in a certain way or to accept certain circumstances.

We are conditioned by others who are conditioned.
Being conditioned, we do not have free-will, and so we suffer.
Acknowledging this suffering is the Buddha’s first noble truth
on the path to enlightenment.

It is only through acknowledging suffering
that we realise it is pure cognisance which sets us free.
