DON’T WORRY ABOUT REINCARNATION

Don’t Worry About Reincarnation

Worrying about reincarnation is like worrying about the next moment; it comes when it comes, if it comes.

The important point is our attitude now, which carries over to the next moment. Why? When we identify with certain sets of thoughts and cling to them, the same old patterns of being reoccur.

What will be will be according to the precepts we created = karma. Without clinging, there is the same body, speech and mind but the view is different.

Whether reincarnation is a reality or not, we can still do our best to stay sane and happy with whatever we’re doing, rather than being occupied with intellectual aggrandisement.

The simplicity of life is satisfying. When we’re hungry, we eat; when we’re tired, we sleep; when we’re excited, we calm down; when we’re dull, we exercise … all executed in the spirit of meditation.

No need to worry that we don’t know enough.
We actually know everything we need to know, and that is pure consciousness.
