Falling for interesting psychology and philosophy such as “We are manipulated by bread and circuses” doesn’t change our life; it just show us how to judge others.

Only when the significance of this metaphor actually smacks us in the face does it become practical and changes us. Until then, it’s just another story from a just another psychologist or philosopher.
