The most dangerous thing about AI is that it makes people doubt everything and/or become dependent. Once we accept that AI is all knowing, it can also change the meaning of words – without us noticing.

When everything can be faked, people throw their hands up and assume the truth is completely unknowable.

This is exactly what developers have created. If the public decides that the government, media, photos etc are all equally likely to be AI-generated lies, then accountability completely disappears.
