Why Some People Are Disliked
Not being liked by everyone is an age-old occurrence that has very little to do with doing something wrong, and almost everything to do with how people filter the world.
When a person simply sees things differently, they’re operating on a wavelength that naturally clashes with or confuses others, and it can unintentionally hold up a mirror to those around them. This mimics the story of the Emperor’s new clothes, where everyone believes how beautiful those clothes are when, in fact, he’s naked. We’ve all bought into a story.
People who see things differently don’t conform to standard social scripts. This can make the majority feel uncomfortable and judged, even if the individual has done nothing to actively attack them.
Society rewards people-pleasing and echoing others. A person who can’t wear that mask won’t fit neatly into standard boxes, which makes more predictable people uneasy.
An independent mind might look like arrogance or aloofness to someone else. If a person is secure in their different perspective, this can breed subconscious resentment or jealousy in those who crave that same confidence.
Trying to be liked by everyone
requires us to maintain superficial acceptance.
In simple language:
when we realise that we are pure consciousness,
we’ve escaped the illusion!
