Trivia in Our Mind

Engaging in trivia fills our mind with trivia.
This imprisons us with irrelevancies,
and so our minds become a product of our environment.

While we are so engaged,
machinations are at work
to imprison us further.
Hope and fear
are the tools of machination.

If our mind is filled with ideas that are not of our choice,
then we will live
in someone else’s dustbin.

Our mind is a precious tool
which can overcome hopes and fears.
