There Is No Dharma, No Buddhism, Nothing Interesting
In meditation, there is nothing other than spontaneous presence, the essence of non-duality.
By getting hung up on labels, we create a duality and lose this moment
Meditation is resting in pure, unconstructed awareness, where concepts, labels and spiritual identities naturally dissolve. This presence is in daily life.
When we forget that we are that spontaneous presence of pure consciousness, there is … Dharma, Buddhism and lots of interesting things. We wander away from spontaneous presence, and the mind steps in to fill the void with labels for Buddhism, Dharma, rituals, and intellectual novelties to chase – and pure consciousness loses its transformative power.
Our conduct needs to reflect understanding, rather than belonging. True understanding isn’t dogmatic; it naturally manifest as spontaneous compassion through clarity in everyday life.
When we know what we are at the deepest level,
our actions naturally reflect compassion and wisdom
– without needing a badge to prove it.
